On Tuesday, some PSULV students took a trip to the New York Botanical Garden that is featuring glass art by Dale Chihuly. Students enjoyed a day in nature and art on the 250 acre garden featuring over 20 installation of Chihuly’s artwork.

Chihuly’s blown glass art brought color and light to the scene in between all the plants creating an eye catching picture. One student who went on the trip felt that it was a “good experience for garden lovers”, but there could have been more vibrancy than there was.

“For example, when I enter I want to be hit by flowers. I liked how they incorporated the artwork of Chihuly,” they said.

Overall it was a very relaxing day spent outside, stepping away from the city while still being in the city. A great way to de-stress from school for a little and just breathe.
