On September 27th the Blue and White Society held their annual bash. The Blue and White society is an organization of current students that helps support the alumni association and they also help create a better experience for students on campus to help them build relationships that they can continue after graduation, as alumni.

The annual Blue and White Society bash takes place at the beginning of each year to welcome back returning students and to provide a fun event for new students to meet new people. This year the event which was held near the lion shrine, had a turn out of around 100 people and included things such as the pie-in-the-face, music, wings, cotton candy, spin art, a balloon artist, and inflatables, for everyone to enjoy.

When asked what he thought of the event, current freshman Nate Markowitz said, “It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the food and the pie-in-the-face.” This event was definitely a success and the students and faculty had a lot of fun meeting new people and participating in the different activities.

The Blue and White Society will also be helping out with and hosting a number of other events this year, the next one being the TED Talk, which will be held at Symphony Hall on October 21st, followed by the etiquette dinner, which will be held on October 25th at the Lehigh Country Club. Anyone is welcome to attend these events, even non-members, but if you would like to become a member please visit the Blue and White Society website or talk to one of the current members of the society, who can be found in room 224 during common hour on Mondays.
